Abhishek Shrikanth is a Kannada television actor, presenter, and content creator born in 1996 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He studied at Bishop Cotton Boys' School and later at PES University. He is the first person in his family to enter acting and trained under theatre guru Usha Bhandary. He first rose to prominence with his morally complex role as Mourya in the Colors Kannada serial Lakshana, where his performance caught the attention of directors and casting teams. He went on to play the lead role in the serial Vadhu — a positive hero role that changed his parents' perception of his career. After a two-year gap in which he underwent a physical transformation, he returned with films, making his Kannada cinema debut with KTM (2024) and also featuring in Satya Son of Harishchandra and Kotee (2024). Beyond acting, he is active as a TV presenter, YouTuber, and podcaster, covering cricket, cinema, and pop culture. In 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12, becoming one of the more strategically active contestants of the season. He was evicted in Week 10, finishing in 14th place.
