Akasa Singh (born 2 April 1990), known professionally as AKASA, is an Indian singer and performer from Mumbai. She comes from a musical family; her father Arvinder Singh is a Punjabi playback singer and music director, and the noted singer Mika Singh is a close family friend. She launched her singing career through reality television, competing in India's Raw Star (2014) on Star Plus where her mentor Himesh Reshammiya helped her secure her Bollywood debut. She appeared in the singing reality show The Remix on Amazon Prime and hosted Secret Side on MTV Beats. Her Bollywood playback debut came with 'Kheech Meri Photo' from Sanam Teri Kasam (2016). She went on to sing several notable film songs including 'Peh Gaya' from Fukrey Returns (2017), 'Dil Na Jaaneya' from Good Newwz (2019), 'Aithey Aa' from Bharat (2019), and 'Dhak Dhak' from Love Aaj Kal (2020). She also sang for Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and Sultan (2016). Her debut pop single 'Thug Ranjha' (2018) became the most-viewed Indian video worldwide on YouTube in its first month. She released a duet with Ricky Martin called Vente Pa Ca (2017). In 2021, she participated in Bigg Boss 15 as an original contestant, finishing twenty-first after 28 days.

Her hit Punjabi pop song 'Naagin' (with Aastha Gill), the playback song 'Aithey Aa' from the Bollywood film Bharat (2019), and her debut pop single 'Thug Ranjha' (2018) which became the most-viewed Indian video worldwide on YouTube.
