Akhil Kutty (അഖിൽ കുട്ടി), whose real name is Akhil B.S. Nair, is an Indian comedian, actor, and model born in Neyyantinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He completed his Diploma at Government Polytechnic College (GPTC), Neyyatinkara, and worked as an IT professional at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram, before transitioning to entertainment. His entry into comedy came through a college friend, Akhil Chempazhanthi, who introduced him to the field. He is primarily recognised as a popular Malayalam television comedian, gaining widespread fame after his team won Asianet's Comedy Stars Season 2. His improvisational chemistry with fellow comedians Noby Marcose and Pashanam Shaji became one of the most-loved acts on Malayalam television. He also played the memorable negative character Aromal in the popular serial Karuthamuthu, winning the Kalakeralam Gurupriya TV Award for the role. He appeared in the Malayalam short film Virgin (2020) and the web series Premier Padmini (Pappante Priyapetta Padmini, 2021), which became a cult hit among Kerala's YouTube audience. He is also a cricket player who represented the Premier Padmini team at Celebrity Cricket events. He was elected Secretary of the Arts Club at his college. In March 2022, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 and served as house captain on multiple occasions. He was evicted in Week 11 on Day 76, finishing eighth overall.
