Akshaya Udayakumar (அக்ஷயா உடையகுமார்), affectionately called Kukku, is an Indian actress, model, and social media influencer born on 17 July 1999 in Palakkad, Kerala, into a Malayali Hindu family. Her father is Udayakumar and her brother is actor Abhishek Udayakumar. She completed her Bachelor's degree at Kochi University. She gained early popularity through viral Instagram reels co-created with her brother Abhishek, recreating iconic scenes from films across genres. Her social media success led to acting opportunities: she made her Tamil film debut with a cameo role as Ivana's sister in Pradeep Ranganathan's blockbuster Love Today (2022, which grossed ₹150 crore against a ₹5 crore budget), and her Malayalam debut in Haya (2022) and Siddy (2022). She also appeared in the Tamil short film Mr. Murali (2021) alongside KPY Bala, and in the film Magic Mushrooms (2026). She entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7 in October 2023 as one of the original contestants. She was sent to the Small Boss House at one point and faced direct nominations through the 'Sabakkal' twist, but persevered for 55 days before being evicted in a double elimination alongside wildcard RJ Bravo in Week 8, finishing fifteenth overall.
