Amrutha Suresh is an Indian singer and RJ from Ernakulam, Kerala, born approximately in 1993. She is the elder sister of actress-singer Abhirami Suresh. Together, they form the music band Amrutam Gamay, which Amrutha founded in 2014 and later invited her sister to join. She has a daughter named Avanthika. She first gained public attention as a contestant on Idea Star Singer (Asianet, 2007). She subsequently established Amrutam Gamay, which gained international recognition with their viral cover of the Israeli folk song Hava Nagila. She worked as an RJ at Radio Suno and contributed to the soundtrack of the Malayalam film June (2019). In August 2019, she received the Red FM Superhit Female Singer Award. She and Abhirami launched the YouTube channel Amrutam Gamay - AG in December 2018. In January 2019, she was invited to speak at Josh Talks Malayalam through the Superb Me initiative. On Day 50 of Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 (Week 7), she and Abhirami entered the Bigg Boss house as wildcard entrants - competing as a joint contestant unit. The season was cancelled on 20 March 2020 (Day 75) due to COVID-19.
