Andy Kumar, born Anand Vijay Kumar on 31 May 1980 in Slough, Berkshire, England, is a British television personality of Indian Punjabi Hindu descent who has built his career in Mumbai, India. He is known for his career as a VJ on Channel V and has hosted several television programmes including the dating reality show Dare 2 Date and Beauty and the Geek on Fox Traveller India. He also won Life OK's cooking reality show Welcome – Baazi Mehmaan-Nawaazi Ki. In 2013, he participated in Bigg Boss Season 7, where his comedic moments — including the catchphrase 'Aloo bade kadade' — and his close friendship with Sangram Singh made him one of the most beloved housemates. He finished fifth in the season. He subsequently participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7 (2014) and I Can Do That (2015).
