Muhammad Diligent Blesslee (മുഹമ്മദ് ദിലിജന്റ് ബ്ലസ്ലി), known by his stage name Blesslee and also as Bacheeka, is an Indian musician, singer, content creator, and comedian born on 24 October 1995 in Varkala, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, into a Muslim family. His father Sabu Kattilan passed away when Blesslee was around 16, leaving a deep impact on his life; his mother is Najuma Sabu. He has two brothers (D Righteous New and Diligent Orater) and a sister (Diligent Sunena N). He completed his B.Sc. Honours in Physics from Kerala University, pursuing it to honour his late father's wish for him to become a doctor - though after graduating, he chose a career in comedy and music, creating a rift between him and his father's memory that he has spoken candidly about. He launched his YouTube channel in July 2011 and created his Instagram account (under the handle 'becheekha') in November 2014. He rose to fame through comedy videos and parody songs, including a viral parody about the new Lulu Mall in Thiruvananthapuram and a tribute song to soldiers who rescued a man trapped on Cherat Hill, Palakkad. His song 'Kandittum Kanatha' in the Omar Lulu-directed film Dhamaka became popular nationwide. His YouTube channel grew to 6 million+ subscribers and his original tracks 'VAZHA', 'Line Busya', and 'Mannu' are among his biggest hits. He is an avid yoga practitioner who eats only once a day. In March 2022, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 4 as the youngest contestant that season. Over 99 days, his genuine warmth, musical talent, and expressed feelings for fellow contestant Dilsha earned him devoted fans. He finished as the first runner-up on 3 July 2022.
