HG Chaitra (born 18 June 1984 in Bengaluru, Karnataka) is a prolific Kannada playback singer. Her father, H.S. Gopinath, is an eminent tabla player and Indian classical singer. Growing up in a musical household, Chaitra developed a unique vocal style rooted in Hindustani classical traditions. She has lent her voice to over 500 songs in Kannada films and is celebrated for her spiritual music concerts. Her versatile voice has made her one of the most sought-after playback singers in the Kannada music industry. In 2016-17, she participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 4 and was evicted in Week 3, finishing sixteenth in the season.
