Cool Suresh (கூல் சுரேஷ்), born Suresh Chandra Menon, is an Indian actor and comedian based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He became a familiar supporting actor in Tamil cinema during the 2000s and 2010s, often playing comic side roles, rowdy characters, and local-flavour supporting parts. His notable films include Kaaka Kaaka (2003), Devathaiyai Kanden (2004), Virumbugiren (2002), and many other mainstream Tamil productions. Before his acting career stabilised, he reportedly worked in odd jobs and at times struggled to find steady opportunities. He experienced an unexpected second wave of fame in 2022 when his repetitive and humorous public promotion of Simbu's film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu — especially the viral phrase 'Venna, Valakka' — turned him into a meme and pop-culture sensation across Tamil social media. This revived his visibility and led to television and event appearances. In 2023, he entered Bigg Boss Tamil Season 7 as one of the original contestants. He was evicted in Week 11, finishing twelfth overall.
