Deepika Kamaiah (born 28 January 1993) is an Indian actress and former model who works predominantly in Kannada films. A Kodavathi by heritage, she was born and raised in Bengaluru and completed her B.Com from Bishop Cotton Women's Christian College in 2009. She began her modelling career while in Class 11 and went on to become a finalist in the Femina Miss India South beauty pageant in 2009. She also won the Lycra MTV Style Awards in 2010. She made her film debut in the Tamil project Aanmai Thavarael (2011) and landed her first major Kannada role in Chingari (2012), directed by Harsha and starring alongside Darshan. Her supporting role in the Kannada comedy Auto Raja (2013) earned her a nomination for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2014 SIIMA Awards. She also had a brief Bollywood appearance in Phata Poster Nikla Hero (2013). In 2014, she participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 2, spending 99 days in the house and finishing as second runner-up, significantly boosting her popularity in Kannada entertainment.

Her role in the Kannada film Chingari (2012) opposite Darshan, and as a finalist in the Femina Miss India South pageant in 2009.
