Diksha Panth (also spelled Deeksha Pant) is an Indian actress and model born on 21 December 1993 in Nainital, Uttarakhand, who is primarily based in Hyderabad, Telangana. She completed her schooling and higher education in Mumbai before pursuing a modelling career and then transitioning into Telugu cinema. She made her acting debut with a small role in Racha (2012, directed by Sampath Nandi, with Ram Charan) as Basanthi - Papa Rao's girlfriend. She subsequently appeared in Oka Laila Kosam (2014, with Naga Chaitanya), Shankarabharanam (2015), Gopala Gopala (2015, with Venkatesh and Pawan Kalyan), Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016, with Nagarjuna), Kavvintha, O Sthree Repu Raa, Banthi Poola Janaki (2016, opposite Dhanraj in the lead), Chal Chal Gurram, and Daaku Maharaaj. She also appeared in the lead role of the film Harmone. In 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 on Star Maa as the first wildcard contestant (in Week 3). She was granted immunity from nominations after winning a secret task with fellow wildcard Navdeep. She was evicted on Day 48 (Week 9) and finished 6th.
