Elli AvrRam, born Elisabet Avramidou Granlund on 29 July 1990 in Stockholm, Sweden, is a Swedish-Greek actress based in Mumbai who has made a significant mark in Bollywood. Her Greek father, Jannis Avramidis, is a musician; her Swedish mother, Maria Granlund, is an actress who appeared in Ingmar Bergman's Fanny and Alexander. She grew up in Tyresö, Stockholm, studied at Frans Schartau High School, and earned a degree in social economics. She trained in acting at her mother and aunt's theatre in Skåne County, Sweden, and was fascinated by Indian dance and cinema from the age of five. She was a contestant for Miss Greece 2010 and made her Swedish film debut with Förbjuden Frukt (2008). In 2012, she moved to Mumbai and landed her first major Indian commercial with Akshay Kumar. Her Bollywood debut came with Mickey Virus (2013), and she has since appeared in Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon (2015), Malang (2020), and the viral song Har Funn Maula (Koi Jaane Na, 2021) with Aamir Khan. In 2013, she entered Bigg Boss Season 7, where her genuine reactions and limited Hindi created endearing moments. She was eliminated after 70 days in Week 11, finishing eighth.
