Flora Saini (ఫ్లోరా సైని), real name Ashu Saini, is an Indian actress and model born on 29 September 1978 in Chandigarh to an Indian Army officer father, J.S. Saini. She grew up in Udhampur (J&K) and Delhi, attending Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, before her family relocated to Kolkata where she entered the Miss Kolkata beauty pageant and launched a modelling career. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Prema Kosam (1999), initially billed as Asha Saini. She gained widespread recognition in Telugu cinema with Narasimha Naidu (2002, earning the 'Lux Papa' nickname) and Nuvvu Naaku Nachav (2001), and went on to appear in 150+ projects across Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi, and Bengali. Pan-Indian recognition came when she played the iconic ghost in the Bollywood horror-comedy Stree (2018). She has also starred in OTT projects including Gandii Baat (ALTBalaji), Inside Edge (Amazon Prime), Rana Naidu (Netflix), and The Trial (Disney+ Hotstar). In 2010, three of her films released on the same day, earning her an entry in the Limca Book of Records. In 2018, she publicly spoke out about surviving domestic abuse at the hands of former partner producer Gaurang Doshi, becoming a voice for survivors. In 2025, she entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 9 as the second celebrity contestant and was evicted on Day 35, finishing seventeenth overall.
