Harshika Poonacha (born 1 May 1993) is an Indian actress who works predominantly in Kannada films. She was born and raised in Ammathi, Kodagu district, Karnataka, and pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, while simultaneously building her acting career. She made her acting debut at the age of 15 while in Class 12 at Christ Junior College, Bengaluru, with the Kannada film PUC (2008), after being noticed by the film's director during a summer hosting stint on television. Her subsequent films included Murali Meets Meera, Ale, Adwaitha, and Crazy Loka. She delivered a critically acclaimed performance in Tamassu, for which she received the Karnataka State Award for Best Actress. She has also appeared in Konkani, Kodava, and Telugu films, and worked briefly as a software engineer at Maxpro before fully committing to acting. In 2014, she participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 2, where she was initially evicted before re-entering the house and finishing in twelfth place overall.

Her debut in the Kannada film PUC (2008) and the State Award-winning performance in Tamassu opposite Shiva Rajkumar.
