Kathi Karthika (also referred to as Karthika or Katti Karthika) is an Indian television anchor and politician from Hyderabad, Telangana. She became a well-known media personality through hosting a daily live show on V6 News, broadcasting from 9:30-10:30 PM, which was titled after her. She is recognised for her warm Telangana accent and her entertaining, bubbly anchoring style. She became briefly notorious for an interview she conducted with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma that attracted widespread attention for its candid nature. She entered politics and has been associated with the political landscape of Telangana. In 2017, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 1 on Star Maa hosted by Jr. NTR, and was evicted in Week 6 (Day 40), finishing 10th.
