Karunya Ram is an Indian actress and model born on 10 August 1987 in Mandya, Karnataka. She began her career in Kannada television before transitioning to films. She is known for her roles in a series of successful Kannada productions. She appeared in the commercially successful film Vajrakaya (2015) starring Shiva Rajkumar and was nominated for the SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actress. She continued to deliver notable performances in Kiragoorina Gayyaligalu (2016) and Eradu Kanasa (2017), earning further award nominations. She won the SIIMA Award for Best Supporting Actress for Mane Maratakkide. She has also appeared in Tamil-language films. In 2016-17, she participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 4, having earlier appeared as a guest in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 2. She finished tenth in Season 4.
