Kushal Tandon is an Indian television actor and model born on 28 March 1985 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his schooling at the Scindia School, Gwalior, and attended Hansraj College, Delhi, before training at the New York Film Academy. He was the first runner-up of the Grasim Mr. India contest in 2005. He rose to television fame with the role of Virat Singh Vadhera in Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai on Star Plus. He went on to play Arjun Sharma in the psychological thriller Beyhadh, earning an Indian Telly Award and a Gold Award for the role. He later starred as Reyansh Lamba in Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. In 2013, he entered Bigg Boss Season 7, developing a relationship with co-contestant Gauahar Khan inside the house. He was evicted and then returned as a wildcard in Week 10, but was ultimately ejected from the show at Week 15 following a physical altercation, finishing seventh.
