Laya Kokila (also known as Layendra or Laya) is an Indian actor, music director, and comedian who works in the Kannada film industry. He is the elder brother of the well-known Kannada composer and comedian Sadhu Kokila. He began his career as an assistant music director and has contributed to numerous devotional music cassettes and films. Over the years, he has directed more than 40 films and appeared as a comic actor in over 80 Kannada films, earning a loyal fan base for his distinctive humour. In 2014, he participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 2, where he was evicted in week 4, finishing fourteenth overall.
