Manya Singh, full name Manya Omprakash Singh, is an Indian model and actress born on 7 December 2001 in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. She comes from a humble background — her father, Omprakash Singh, is a rickshaw driver and her mother works at a beauty parlour. When she was 14, she left home and moved to Mumbai to pursue her dreams, working part-time at a Pizza Hut to support herself while continuing her studies. She completed her schooling at S. M. Lohia High School, Mumbai, and graduated from Thakur College of Science & Commerce, Mumbai. She won the title of Miss India Uttar Pradesh 2020 and went on to finish as the 1st Runner-Up at the VLCC Femina Miss India 2020 pageant, with the grand finale held on 10 February 2021. Her extraordinary journey from extreme hardship to national recognition made her an inspiration across India. In 2022–23, she participated in Bigg Boss Season 16, finishing seventeenth after being evicted in Week 3.
