Marina Abraham (after marriage: Marina Abraham Sahni) is a Telugu television actress and YouTuber born on 12 June in Panaji, Goa, and raised in Hyderabad after her mother Juliana Abraham - a school teacher who later became a school principal in Hyderabad - relocated the family. Marina lost her father at a young age and was raised solely by her mother. She is an only child. After completing Class 10 in Goa, she moved to Hyderabad for higher education and graduated there. She entered entertainment through a contact of her mother's and made her film debut in Romance with Finance (2016). She rose to Telugu television fame through her lead role as Samantha Williams Vajrapati - a girl born in America who comes to India to reunite her mother with family - in Zee Telugu's America Ammayi (2015-2018), which also earned her recognition in Hyderabad Times' Most Desirable Women on TV 2017 list. She subsequently played the lead in Siri Siri Muvvalu and Prema on Star Maa. She married Rohit Sahni on 29 November 2017. Together they participated in Dance Jodi Dance (Zee Telugu, 2018) and Ishmart Jodi (Star Maa, 2020), and co-launched the YouTube channel Marina And Rohit Diaries in August 2020. In September 2022, she and Rohit entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6 under the 'Project DNA' twist - initially entering as a single combined housemate before splitting into two individuals on Day 29. They were the second celebrity couple ever to enter Bigg Boss Telugu. Marina was evicted in Week 11 (Day 77), finishing 10th overall.
