Meenal Shah is an Indian model, actress, dancer, and fitness enthusiast born on 18 April 1992 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Her mother's name is Rama Shah and she has a younger brother, Kamlesh Shah. Despite family financial difficulties that forced her to start working at age 15 to fund her own education, she completed an M.Tech degree in Biotechnology from Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Mumbai. She is trained in boxing and nunchaku, and is an avid squash player and motorcyclist, attending the Indian Bike Week in Goa annually. She launched her modelling career in 2014, winning the Miss Fitness title at the Radio Mirchi Queen Bee Competition that year. She was featured on the cover of Femina magazine in February 2016 and featured in its May 2016 edition 'The White Tigress'. In 2016, she appeared in Badshah's music video 'Nothing Dirty' and rapper Ikka's video 'Larkiyan Larkiyan'. She made her television debut on MTV Roadies Rising (2017) as a semi-finalist in Prince Narula's gang, impressing judges with her nunchaku and martial arts skills. In 2018 she participated in MTV Box Cricket League with Delhi Dragons and in 2019 won the Woman of the Match award as Delhi Dragons won the League championship. In 2019, she also won a Macroman competition and met Ranbir Kapoor as her prize. She entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 3 on 19 September 2021 and became the first confirmed finalist of the season. She stayed the full 97 days and finished fifth in the grand finale on 26 December 2021.
