Neha Bhasin (born 18 November 1982) is an Indian playback singer, pop star, and songwriter from New Delhi. She is the daughter of Ashoke and Rekha Bhasin, and studied at The Frank Anthony Public School before graduating from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi. She received classical vocal training from Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan and dance training from Shiamak Davar's academy. She shot to fame at the age of 18 when she was selected via Channel V's reality singing competition Coke V Popstars to be part of Viva — India's first all-girl pop band. Viva made Limca Book of Records history when more than 50,000 people attended their debut concert. Her Bollywood playback debut came with 'Kuch Khaas' from Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion (2008), which topped the charts. She won the Stardust Award for Musical Sensation of the Year for 'Dhunki' from Mere Brother Ki Dulhan (2011). She has also sung for Sultan (2016), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), and the Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine (2014), among many others. She married music composer Sameer Uddin in Tuscany, Italy in October 2016. She was the first Indian female singer to endorse Sennheiser. In 2021, she entered Bigg Boss 15 as a wildcard contestant in week 5, finishing thirteenth after 23 days.
