Pradeep Chandran is an Indian actor based in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, predominantly working in Malayalam films and television. He made his television debut in 2010 with the Asianet serial Kunjali Marikar and won the Asianet Television Award for Best Debut Actor (2011) for this role. He became a household name in Kerala through his lead role as Abhiram in the long-running Asianet serial Karuthamuthu. An ardent fan of Mohanlal, he has appeared alongside him in several films including Drishyam (2013), Ividam Swargamanu, Kandahar, Geetanjali, Kurukshetra, Lokpal, and 1971: Beyond Borders. Other film credits include Angel John, Karma Yodha, and Oppam (2016). In 2013, he founded Automated Car Wash, a car wash company in Thiruvananthapuram, demonstrating his entrepreneurial side. He is a known animal lover. On 5 January 2020, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 on Asianet hosted by Mohanlal and was evicted in Week 6, finishing 17th.
