Priyanka Chahar Choudhary is an Indian television actress and model born on 13 August 1996 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. She comes from a Rajput Hindu family with a military background — her father, Mahavir Chahar, is an honorary captain in the Indian Army. She completed her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jaipur, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts and Communication from Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Jaipur. She began her career as a model in 2016, appearing in several Punjabi music videos. She made her television debut in 2019 as Sejal Parekh in Gathbandhan on Colors TV, followed by the role of Keerti Jain in Yeh Hai Chahatein. Her breakthrough came with the lead role of Tejo Kaur Sandhu in Colors TV's Udaariyaan (2021–2024), co-starring Ankit Gupta and Isha Malviya. In 2022–23, she participated in Bigg Boss Season 16 alongside her Udaariyaan co-star Ankit Gupta and finished as the second runner-up. She appeared in the film Dus June Ki Raat (2024) and was cast as the lead in Naagin 7 (2025).
