Pugazh, born Pugazhendhi and also known as Parattai Pugazh, is an Indian actor and comedian who works in Tamil cinema and television. He was born on 14 November 1990 in Cuddalore, Tamil Nadu. He began his career behind the scenes at Star Vijay before appearing as a contestant on the comedy show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru. He rose to widespread fame as a 'comali' on the cooking reality show Cooku with Comali, known for his mimicry and humour. His popularity on television led to film offers, and he made his debut in Sixer (2019). He has since appeared in films such as Cocktail, Sabhaapathy, Veetla Vishesham and Valimai, and made his lead debut in Mr. Zoo Keeper. He runs the YouTube channel Parattai Pugazh and married Benzi Riya in 2022. He has also appeared as a guest on Bigg Boss Tamil season 7.
