Ranjith Kumar is an Indian actor, model, and fitness enthusiast from Bengaluru, Karnataka. He built a strong presence in Kannada television and film through his work in serials and films. His most prominent television role was Surya Deva in the Kannada mythological serial Shani (Colors Kannada) - a role that gained him significant popularity and which he departed after publicly claiming three months of unpaid remuneration. Prior to Shani, he appeared in television serials including Amruthvarshini, Meera Madhava, Avanu Mathe Shravani, and Chitte Hejje, and has auditioned for various roles through his distinctive voice, which reportedly secured him the Shani role.
