Rupali Bhosale is an Indian actress and theatre artist born on 29 December 1983 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She studied at St. Thomas Secondary School, Mumbai, and graduated from the University of Mumbai. She began her acting career in Marathi theatre before transitioning to television and films. Her TV career started with Marathi serials Man Udhan Varyache (debut), Don Kinare Doghi Apan, Dilya Ghari Tu Sukhi Raha, Shejari Shejari Pakke Shejari, Kulswamini, and Kanyadaan. She made her Bollywood film debut with Risk (2007) and her Marathi film debut with Chaandi (2013). Her most prominent role came as the lead actress in the Sony SAB Hindi series Badi Door Se Aaye Hain, which significantly expanded her national audience. She is also known for her popular role of Sajana in the much-loved Marathi daily serial Aai Kuthe Kay Karte. In 2019, she participated in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2 on Colors Marathi hosted by Mahesh Manjrekar and was evicted in Week 10 (Day 69), finishing 9th. A notable Bigg Boss moment involving her was that co-contestant Maadhav Deochake saved her from elimination in Week 10 using a twist introduced by Bigg Boss.
