Sagar Karande is an Indian actor, comedian, and theatre artist born on 1 January 1980, originally from Nashik and based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He pursued a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering before his passion for acting led him to the stage. He began his career in Marathi theatre and built his reputation through stage shows, stand-up performances, and comedy sketches. His television breakthrough came with the highly popular Marathi comedy show Chala Hawa Yeu Dya (Colors Marathi), where his recurring character Postman Kaka and his strong comic timing made him one of the show's most loved performers. He also appeared in the comedy show Fu Bai Fu and the national show India's Laughter Champion (2022). His film credits include Kutumb (2012), Chal Dhar Pakad, Fakt Ladh Mhana, and Ek Taara. In January 2026, he entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 6 as one of the most anticipated contestants, bringing genuine warmth and humour to the house. He was eliminated in Week 12, finishing eighth. He is married to Sonali Karande and has a daughter named Sai Karande.
