Shanavas Shanu is a Malayalam television actor born in Manjeri, Malappuram, Kerala. He attended NSS College, Manjeri. He made his film debut in Speed Track (2007) and his television debut in Indraneelam (2010) on Surya TV. His breakthrough came with the villain role of Rudhran in the Asianet serial Kumkumapoovu (2011–2014), which made him a household name in Kerala. He subsequently appeared in numerous serials including Malakhamar, Vasthavam, Mrs. Hitler, Swayamvaram, and Mangalyam. His portrayal of Indran in Seetha (2017–2019) on Flowers TV earned him the moniker #Seethendriyam on social media for his chemistry with co-star Swasika Vijay. He made his lead film debut in Police Junior (2018), winning the New Face Award at the Adoor Bhasi Awards in 2019. He is married to Sona and they have two children. In August 2025, he entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 7. After being hospitalised briefly in week 12 and returning to the house, he finished as the second runner-up.
