Shani Salmon (also written Shaani Salmon) is a Telugu actor from Hyderabad, Telangana. He was a professional Kho Kho player before transitioning to acting. His most notable screen credit is a role in SS Rajamouli's action sports film Sye (2004), which starred Nitin and Genelia D'Souza and became a cult classic of Telugu cinema - known for its iconic climax sequence. He also appeared in other Telugu productions including Ram Asur. In September 2022, he entered Bigg Boss Telugu Season 6 as one of the original 21 contestants. He was evicted on Day 13 in Week 2, finishing 21st overall in the season's last eviction of that week.
