Shilpa Saklani Agnihotri, born on 5 June in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, is an Indian television actress who has been active since 2001. She is best known for playing Ganga Joshi Virani in the iconic Ekta Kapoor serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2002–2008) and the dual role of Kkusum Deshmukh Kapoor in Kkusum (2005). She has gone on to play Kaikeyi in Shrimad Ramayan and Ambika Singhania in Parineetii. She married actor Apurva Agnihotri on 29 June 2004. In 2013, both she and her husband entered Bigg Boss Season 7 together — one of the few real couples to participate simultaneously. She was evicted in Week 5, finishing sixteenth. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter, on 13 October 2022.
