Soniya Bansal is an Indian actress and model born on 24 July 1992 in Chandigarh, Punjab. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting. She appeared in the Bollywood film Naughty Gang (2019) as Tara, and has featured in Hindi television shows and music videos. Known for her spontaneous personality, she reportedly decided to join Bigg Boss 17 at the last minute, even saying on the launch night, 'I just came last minute, packed a bag and came.' In October 2023, she entered Bigg Boss Season 17 as an original contestant. She was one of the earliest evictions - voted out by housemates in Week 2 (Day 12), finishing 21st overall.
