Sreejita De is an Indian actress and model born on 16 July 1989 in Haldia, West Bengal, to Swapan Kumar De and Lipi De. She grew up in Haldia and later moved to Mumbai to pursue an acting career, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai. She made her acting debut at age 17 with Ekta Kapoor's episodic series Ssshhhh… Phir Koi Hai (2006). She built her career with roles in popular serials including Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Miley Jab Hum Tum, and Piya Rangrezz before landing her most celebrated role as Mukta Rathore Kashyap in Colors TV's Uttaran, one of India's longest-running serials. She also portrayed Dilruba in Star Plus's Nazar. In 2022–23, she participated in Bigg Boss Season 16 as an original contestant, was evicted and re-entered as a wildcard in Week 9, before being eliminated again in Week 15, finishing twelfth. She married her long-time partner Michael Blohm-Pape in Hamburg, Germany in July 2023.
