Thesni Khan is an Indian actress, comedian, dancer, and television presenter born on 5 April 1970 in Kochi, Kerala, into a Muslim family. Her father Ali Khan was a magician; she often assisted him at magic shows during her childhood, which laid the foundation for her love of performance. She trained at Cochin Kalabhavan, where she learned mimicry, acting, dance, and comedy - the institution that pioneered professional mimicry in Kerala. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Daisy (1988) and went on to appear in over 100 Malayalam films, primarily in comic character roles, including Aparan, Kalikkalam, Godfather, Neelakurukkan, Karyasthan (2010), Beautiful (2011), Pokkiri Raja (2010), Thappana, Happy Wedding (2016), Fukri (2016), Achayans (2017), Madhura Raja (2019), and Subharathri (2019). She has appeared in 20+ television serials including Cinemala, Snehaseema, Sundari Sundari, and Akkare Ikkare, and has judged popular comedy shows including Comedy Stars (Asianet), Five Minutes Fun Star (Kaumudi TV), and Jagapoga (Kairali TV). In 2021, she launched the YouTube channel Thezbeen's Vlogz with actress Beena Antony. On 5 January 2020, she entered Bigg Boss Malayalam Season 2 and was evicted in Week 4 (Day 27), finishing 19th.
