Tina Datta is an Indian actress born on 27 November 1986 in Kolkata, West Bengal, to Tapan Datta and Madhumita Datta. She attended Meghmala Roy Education Center and St. Paul's Boarding and Day School before graduating from the University of Calcutta. She began her career at age five with the Bengali TV show Sister Nivedita, followed by her film debut as a child artist in the Bengali film Pita Maata Santan. After performing in several Bengali films, she made her Hindi television debut and rose to national stardom with her dual portrayal of Ichcha Singh Bundela and Meethi in the iconic Colors TV drama Uttaran (2008–2015), one of Indian TV's longest-running serials. She participated in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 (2016) and appeared in several other TV shows. In 2022–23, she entered Bigg Boss Season 16 and remained until Week 17. She briefly left the house mid-season to attend to her pet's passing but returned the same day.
