Vanishree, also known as Vanisri, is a veteran Kannada actress from Bengaluru with a career spanning over three decades since 1991. She has appeared in more than 40 Kannada films in both lead and supporting roles and has been a familiar presence in numerous Kannada television serials. She is known for her contributions to the Kannada television industry from the days of Doordarshan and has remained active in the industry across multiple generations of Kannada entertainment. In 2016-17, she participated in Bigg Boss Kannada Season 4 as the first contestant to be evicted, leaving the house in Week 1 and finishing eighteenth.
