Vikas Patil is an Indian actor born on 24 September 1982 in Kolhapur, Maharashtra. He is married to Swati (m. 2010) and they have a son together. He began his acting career at a very young age and built extensive experience across Marathi films and television serials over more than two decades. He appeared in Marathi stage plays including Hamidabaichi Kothi, Altun Paltun, and Thodasa Logic Thodasa Magic before transitioning to screen work. His television career includes lead and prominent roles in Char Divas Sasuche, Kulvadhu, Lek Mazhi Ladki, Suvasini, Maziya Mahera, Antarpat, and Vartul. His film appearances include Shentimental, Atrangi, Tuzhya Vin Marjava, Aajacha Diwas Majha, Tukaram, and Vacation. His most prominent television role came with the lead in Colors Marathi's Bayko Ashi Havvi (2021), directed by Viren Pradhan. He entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 3 in September 2021. His close, protective friendship with Vishal Nikam was celebrated as one of the season's most heartwarming relationships, earning the duo the nickname 'VishVikas' among fans. He stayed for the entire 97 days, reaching the grand finale on 26 December 2021 and finishing in 3rd place.
