Yogita Chavan is an Indian Marathi actress, model, and dancer born on 9 March 1994 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She completed her graduation with a B.Com degree before entering the entertainment industry. Her stage debut in theatrical productions and her pageant recognition - finishing as the first runner-up at Maharashtra Times Shravan Queen 2016 - were early milestones in her career. She built her television career through roles in popular Marathi serials: her debut in Jaadubaai Jorat (Zee Marathi, 2018), followed by Navri Mile Navryala (Sony Marathi, 2019-20) as Sarita, and her most prominent role as Antara Khanvilkar / Antara Shitole in the Colors Marathi daily soap Jeev Majha Guntala (2021-23), which made her a recognised face in Marathi television. She has also appeared in Marathi films including Gavthi (2018, as Gauri), Mumbai Apli Ahe (2019), Shiva - Ek Yuva Yoddha (2019), Luckdown (2022, as Malan), and Raada (2022, as Pratiksha). On stage, she has been part of productions including Raasleela, Marathi Bana, and Andhado Paato. She married Saurabh Chougule on 3 March 2024, just months before entering the Bigg Boss house. In July 2024, she entered Bigg Boss Marathi Season 5 hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and was one of the most assertive personalities of the season - her confrontations with fellow contestants and strong alliance membership made her a fan favourite. She was eliminated in Week 3 (Day 20), finishing fifteenth.
