Dhinchak Pooja, born Pooja Jain on 16 December 1993 in Uttar Pradesh, is an Indian YouTuber, singer, rapper, and songwriter. She completed her schooling at Modern School, Rohtak, and studied at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. She first gained viral attention with her self-produced YouTube song Swag Wali Topi (2016), followed by Selfie Maine Leli Aaj (2017) and Dilon Ka Shooter. Her intentionally eccentric style and unpolished production, which critics and audiences widely labelled as cringe pop, paradoxically generated enormous viewership and made her a pop-culture phenomenon across India. In October 2017, she entered Bigg Boss Season 11 as a wildcard contestant, bringing the same audacious energy that made her famous online. She was evicted in Week 5, finishing fifteenth in the season.
