Karanvir Bohra (born Manoj Bohra on 28 August 1982) is an Indian television actor, producer, and fashion designer from Jodhpur, Rajasthan, raised in Mumbai. He comes from a film family — his father Mahendra Bohra is a filmmaker and his grandfather Ramkumar Bohra was a producer. He studied at GD Somani Memorial School, Cuffe Parade, and graduated in commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai. He is a trained Kathak dancer. He debuted as a child artist in the Bollywood film Tejaa (1990), and made his television debut with Just Mohabbat (1999). He changed his name from Manoj to Karanvir in 2007. He became a household name for his acclaimed negative portrayal of Prem Basu/Yudi in the iconic Star Plus serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay, winning the Indian Telly Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role. His subsequent notable roles include Dhruv in Shararat (2003–07), Viraj in Dil Se Di Dua… Saubhagyavati Bhava? (2011–12, another ITA Award for Best Actor Negative), Aahil in Qubool Hai (2013–15), and Rocky in Naagin 2 (2016–17). He launched his clothing line Pegasus in 2012. He is married to VJ and actress Teejay Sidhu (married 2006) and has three children. In 2018, he participated in Bigg Boss 12 as a celebrity contestant, finishing fifth after 104 days.
