Abhijit Bichukale (born 28 November 1976) is an Indian politician, independent social worker, writer, poet, and media personality from Satara, Maharashtra. He attended a local school in Satara before graduating with a B.A. Honours in English from Lal Bahadur Shastri College, Satara, and completing further studies at Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Nicknamed 'Kavi Manache Neta' (a leader with a poet's heart) by his supporters, he has contested elections as an independent candidate from Municipal Corporation to Parliamentary level, receiving limited votes each time. He has written extensively on social and political issues and describes himself as an artist, writer, poet, and singer. In 2019, he participated in Bigg Boss Marathi Season 2, where he gained national attention when Maharashtra Police entered the Bigg Boss house to arrest him in connection with a cheque bounce case. He was later cleared and re-entered the show. He entered Bigg Boss 15 as a wildcard contestant in week 9, alongside Rashami Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee, and finished ninth overall after 49 days.
