Donal Bisht (born 27 August 1994) is an Indian actress, model, and former journalist from Chamoli, Uttarakhand, born in Alwar, Rajasthan. Her parents are Jaisingh Bisht and Jasumati Bisht, and she has an elder brother, Ranjan Bisht. Before entering the entertainment industry, she worked as a journalist and news anchor for various channels, including anchoring Chitrahaar on Doordarshan. She began modeling during college and pursued both simultaneously before transitioning fully to acting. She made her acting debut with the Star Plus serial Airlines (2015), playing a journalist, and subsequently appeared in Twist Wala Love and Kalash – Ek Vishwaas (2015–17). Her career gained significant momentum with Ek Deewaana Tha (2017–18) on Sony TV, for which she received an ITA Award nomination for Best Actor (Female) – Popular in 2017. She earned the Golden Petal Award for Best Supporting Actress in 2019 for Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop on Colors TV. In 2019, she was ranked 18th on The Times of India's Most Desirable Women on TV list. In 2021, she entered Bigg Boss 15 as an original contestant but was evicted on Day 18 by the housemates, finishing twenty-second.
Her role as Sharanya Bisht in Sony TV's romantic thriller Ek Deewaana Tha (2017–18) and as Ishika Patel in Colors TV's Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop (2018–19).
