Jay Bhanushali (born 25 December 1984) is an Indian television actor, model, dancer, and anchor originally from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. His family moved to Mumbai soon after his birth, where he grew up and attended B.P.M. High School. He began his television career in 2005 with a supporting role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and gained his breakthrough as lead character Neev Shergill in Ekta Kapoor's romantic serial Kayamath (2007–08) on Star Plus, earning the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face – Male. He subsequently hosted several major television shows and became one of India's highest-profile TV hosts, particularly associated with Dance India Dance. He participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2 (2009) and with his wife Mahhi Vij, won Nach Baliye 5 (2012–13). He made his Bollywood debut with Hate Story 2 (2014), followed by Desi Kattey (2014) and Ek Paheli Leela (2015). In 2021, he participated in Bigg Boss 15 as an original contestant, finishing fourteenth after 55 days. He is married to actress Mahhi Vij; the couple have adopted two children, Khushi and Rajveer, and have a biological daughter, Tara (born 2019).
