Firoza Khan, better known by her stage name Khanzaadi, is an Indian rapper, singer, and songwriter born in 1996 in Guwahati, Assam. Her father is from Afghanistan and her mother is Indian, giving her a mixed cultural background. She grew up in a conservative family and taught herself to write and rap without any formal music training, before moving to Mumbai to pursue her music career. She rose to fame as a participant in MTV Hustle 2.0 (2022) - India's first rap reality show - where her sharp lyrics, bold personality, and Hindustani-inflected rapping style caught national attention. Her singles 'Aazma Le', 'Ziddi', and 'Begum' explore themes of personal struggle, social pressure, and female empowerment. She also participated in MTV Splitsvilla Season 15. In October 2023, she entered Bigg Boss Season 17 as an original contestant. Her fiery personality and candid interactions, especially with Munawar Faruqui and her complicated connection to Abhishek Kumar, made her a memorable presence in the house. She was evicted in Week 9 (Day 61), finishing 15th overall.
