Farhana Bhat (फ़रहाना भट्ट) is an Indian actress, national-level Taekwondo champion, and peace activist born on 15 March 1997 in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. Raised by her mother and grandfather after her father left in infancy, she grew up in a conservative Kashmiri Muslim household that initially discouraged a career in entertainment. Despite these challenges, she pursued acting, earning a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication and a Diploma in Acting from Actor Prepares. She made her Bollywood debut in Sunshine Music Tours and Travels (2016) opposite Sunny Kaushal, and gained critical recognition for her role as Jasmeet in Imtiaz Ali's Laila Majnu (2018). She later appeared in Notebook (2019), Singham Again (2024), and several OTT projects including The Freelancer (Disney+ Hotstar) and Rakshak – India's Braves Chapter 2 (Amazon miniTV). In Bigg Boss 19 (2025), she was controversially evicted on Day 1 but was sent to a secret room before re-entering the house, ultimately finishing as first runner-up. She is also a five-time national gold medallist in Taekwondo and serves as a Special Interest Groups Representative for the Commonwealth Council India.
