Samir Soni is an Indian actor and former international model born on 2 February 1970 in New Delhi. After completing his education, he pursued modelling, working with major international fashion houses including Versace, Giorgio Armani, and Valentino, and walking the runways of Paris and Milan. He represented India in numerous international fashion shows before transitioning to the Indian entertainment industry. He made his Hindi television debut in the early 2000s and built a strong profile on both Indian television and in Bollywood. His notable television roles include Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai (Sony TV), Dill Mill Gayye (Sony TV), and the antagonist Pratigya in Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai (Star Plus, 2008). He also appeared in the web series Hum (2019, ALT Balaji). In Bollywood, he appeared in films including Veer (2010), Dil Kabaddi (2008), and 8 x 10 Tasveer (2009). He is married to actress Neelam Kothari (m. 2011) and they have a daughter, Ahana. He entered Bigg Boss 4 in October 2010 as one of the original housemates. He was evicted mid-season but was re-introduced into the house on Day 49 (Week 7) as a returning contestant. He was ultimately evicted in Week 13, finishing 5th overall.
