Armaan Kohli is a former Indian film actor born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, into a prominent Bollywood family. His father is legendary filmmaker Rajkumar Kohli and his mother is actress Nishi. He appeared as a child artist in his father's films Badle Ki Aag (1982) and Raaj Tilak (1984), before making his debut as a leading actor in Virodhi (1992). He was originally cast in Deewana (1992) opposite Divya Bharti before walking out, with Shah Rukh Khan eventually stepping in. His father revived his career with Qahar (1997) alongside Sunny Deol and Sunil Shetty, and he later had a notable role in Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani (2002). In 2013, he participated in Bigg Boss Season 7, where his aggressive temperament caused controversy. He was arrested mid-season after allegedly assaulting co-contestant Sofia Hayat, and was later ejected from the house permanently in Week 15. His relationship with Tanishaa Mukherjee inside the house was a central storyline of the season.
