Sangram Singh, born Sanjeet Kumar on 21 July 1985, is an Indian professional wrestler, actor, motivational speaker, and MMA fighter from Madina village in Rohtak, Haryana. Born into a Jat family, he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis as an infant and used a wheelchair for the first eight years of his life. His father, Umed Singh, is a retired Army soldier. He began his sporting career with the Delhi Police in 1999 and won a bronze medal at the All India Police Games 2005. He was awarded the title World's Best Professional Wrestler by World Wrestling Professionals (WWP) after a match in South Africa in 2012. He went on to win the WWP Commonwealth Heavyweight Championship twice — in 2015 and 2016 — both held in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, and was felicitated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for these achievements. In 2013, he participated in Bigg Boss Season 7 and was selected as the first finalist of the season after choosing a mystery briefcase. He finished fourth. He married actress Payal Rohatgi in 2022.
