Rochelle Maria Rao (रोशेल राव) is an Indian model, actress, and television host born on 25 November 1988 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Her father Dr. Nicolas V. Rao is a wildlife photographer, environmentalist, and advocate, and her mother Wendy Rao is a homemaker; she has two brothers (Fritz David and the late Noel Rohn) and a sister Paloma Rao (actress and VJ). She attended M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai, earning a B.Sc. in Electronic Media. She competed in Pantaloons Femina Miss India South (2012, first runner-up) before competing at Femina Miss India 2012, where she won the title of Femina Miss India International (along with sub-titles Miss Glamorous Diva, Miss Ramp Walk, and Miss Body Beautiful). She then represented India at Miss International 2012 in Okinawa, Japan, finishing 9th out of 68 nations. She gained national visibility by hosting Extra Innings for IPL Season 6 (2013, Star Sports). Her reality show appearances include Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6 (2013, wildcard), Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 (2014), and Nach Baliye 9 (2019). She became a long-running fan favourite as Nurse Lottery on The Kapil Sharma Show (Sony TV, 2016–2019). She appeared in films Friends Forever (2016) and 1962: The War in the Hills (Disney+ Hotstar, 2021). She had been in a relationship with VJ/model Keith Sequeira from 2015 and entered Bigg Boss 9 with him as one of its Double Trouble pairs. They finished fourth and fifth respectively. She and Keith got engaged on Valentine's Day 2017 and married on 3 March 2018 in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu.
