Shobha Shetty is an Indian actress born on 20 January 1990 in Mangaluru, Karnataka, primarily working in Telugu and Kannada television. She studied at Bapuji High School, Davangere, and earned an MSc in Sustainable Development from Bangalore University. Before acting, she worked at ATSIT, Ismailia. She made her television debut in 2013 with the Kannada serial Agnisakshi as Tanu. Her Kannada film debut came with Anjani Putra (2017, alongside Puneeth Rajkumar and Rashmika Mandanna). She made her Telugu TV debut with Ashta Chemma (2017), earning the Star Maa Parivaar Award for Best Actress in 2018. Her most celebrated role is Dr. Monitha in the long-running Telugu serial Karthika Deepam (from 2018), for which she won the Star Maa Parivaar Award for Best Negative Role (2019). She has also appeared in Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo, Attarintiki Daredi, and Hitler Gari Pellam, and competed in the Star Maa Parivar League (2019) representing Karthika Deepam. In 2023, she participated in Bigg Boss Telugu Season 7. In November 2024 (Week 7), she entered Bigg Boss Kannada Season 11 as a wildcard contestant. She walked out on Day 13 of her stay (Week 8), finishing 13th overall in the season.
